Major Award Winners Bring Star Power
LL Cool J, Bill Withers, 50 Cent, Jermaine "JD" Dupri, Mary Mary, Amerie, Sean Paul and EMI Music Publishing were among the top honorees at the 19th Annual ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on June 26, 2006. Multiple Award-winning songwriters in attendence included Jermaine "JD" Dupri, Johntà Austin, Destiny's Child's Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, Missy Elliott, Manuel Seal and the show's co-host Ciara. The star-studded evening featured performances by DJ Scratch, Ledisi, Tank, Sy Smith and Mary Mary.

A Celebration of Today's Top Talent
The elegantly-attired audience of more than 700 songwriters, publishers and entertainment industry luminaries gathered in the International Ballroom as awards were presented to the songwriters and publishers of the most performed ASCAP songs on the 2005 R&B, Hip-Hop, Rap, Reggae and Gospel charts.
