Paul Curran, Chairman

Paul Curran has been in music publishing since 1981. He was Managing Director of BMG Music Publishing from 1988, and Group Managing Director once the company had acquired Zomba in 2003. Since 2005 he has been Chairman of the UK companies.

BMG represents many major UK writers including Robbie Williams, Annie Lennox, Coldplay, Keane, Joss Stone, Jamelia, Elvis Costello, Paul Weller, Robin and Maurice Gibb, and Dave Stewart.

Zomba UK represent Mutt Lange, Daft Punk, and many new emerging artists such as The Mystery Jets and M.I.A.

BMG also sub-publish Famous Music.

Paul recently concluded the acquisition of Complete Music, bringing, amongst others, The Stranglers and The Buzzcocks to BMG. The company also represents many TV and Film companies including BBC Worldwide, Hat-trick and Freemantle.

With Zomba's Bruton and Chappell libraries joining the Atmosphere and Killer Tracks libraries, BMGZomba Production Music are the market leaders in production music.

Paul is on the PRS and MCPS Boards, and is Chairman of the MPA.
