The All-American Rejects
ASCAP Vanguard Award

In recognition of the impact of musical genres which help shape the future of American music, ASCAP is proud to present the 2007 ASCAP Vanguard Award to The All-American Rejects.

Since bursting onto the scene with their eponymous 2002 certified platinum debut album, The All-American Rejects have helped reshape the sound of contemporary American radio with such songs as "Swing Swing" and "The Last Song." Their most recent album, the double platinum selling Move Along, has already spawned three major hit singles – the album's title track, "Dirty Little Secret" and their latest hit "It Ends Tonight." We also congratulate The All-American Rejects on the distinction of having the three aforementioned tracks reach the Top 10 on the CHR/Top 40 charts. Together the three tracks have sold over four million downloads on iTunes.

Past ASCAP Vanguard honorees include The Arcade Fire, Beck, Modest Mouse, the Strokes, Built to Spill, the Mars Volta, Joseph Arthur and Jack Johnson.
