Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah Among ASCAP Members Honored at NAACP Image Awards

The 39th Annual NAACP Image Awards, which honors projects and individuals that promote diversity in the arts of television, recording, literature and motion pictures, aired live Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT on FOX. The theme of this year's show was "Stand Up and Be Counted." During the crucial election year, the NAACP encourages everyone to be socially conscious and take a stand on critical human and civil rights.
