ASCAP Members Honored At The Ivors
The 49th Ivor Novello Awards were held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London to honor and celebrate the work of British songwriters, composers and music publishers. Among the winners were some of ASCAP's top British songwriters and composers including, The Darkness for Songwriters of the Year, Radiohead for International Achievement, and Dido for International Hit of the Year, among others.
The Ivors are internationally respected as the premier award ceremony to reflect the talent of British songwriters and composers and their contribution as the creative source of the music industry's prosperity. The event is presented by the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters in association with The Performing Right Society.
