ASCAP Members Winning Multiple Awards include Beyoncé, OutKast, Justin
Timberlake, Luther Vandross, Jay-Z and June Carter Cash

R&B singer Beyoncé Knowles took home five Grammy Awards - tying the record for the most Grammys ever won by a female artist. Beyoncé's prizes included Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best Contemporary R&B Album for Dangerously in Love. Her hit single "Crazy in Love," with Jay-Z, was named Best R&B Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.

Beyoncé shared Best Vocal R&B Performance by a Duo or Group for her collaboration with Luther Vandross on "The Closer I Get To You." Vandross also won Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Album for "Dance With My Father."

British group Coldplay won the prestigious Record of the Year award for their song "Clocks."

Justin Timberlake picked up prizes for Best Male Pop Vocal for "Cry Me A River" and Best Pop Vocal Album for Justified.

The late Johnny Cash and wife June Carter Cash were also honored. Cash won the prize for Best Short-Form Video for his single "Hurt," while his wife won Best Traditional Folk Album.

Former Beatle George Harrison won the award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance. The gala paid tribute to The Beatles with a rendition of "I Saw Her Standing There," marking the 40th anniversary of The Beatles landmark debut appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show."
