ASCAP songwriter Bruce Springsteen wins Golden Globe for Best Original Song

ASCAP congratulates Bruce Springsteen, who won the award for Best Original Song - Motion Picture at the 66th annual Golden Globe awards, held Sunday, January 11th at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

The Golden Globe was awarded to Springsteen for his song "The Wrestler" from the film The Wrestler.

This marks the second time that Springsteen has picked up a Golden Globe, the first being in 1994 for his song "Streets of Philadelphia" from Philadelphia.
