The ASCAP Foundation John Denver Music Scholarships supported by Music Alive! and the Cherry Lane Foundation This scholarship was established to provide young music students with an opportunity to attend a summer music camp which they would otherwise not be able to afford. Funding of this program is provided by a bequest from Rosalie Meyer, widow of ASCAP member Joseph Meyer whose songwriting credits include "If You Knew Susie" and "California Here I Come;" Cherry Lane Music Foundation; and Music Alive! Magazine. Three students, ages 10-16, will be offered full scholarships to the Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp in Colorado.
