The ASCAP Foundation Ira Gershwin Scholarship at LaGuardia High School

This scholarship was created to honor the classic lyricist, Ira Gershwin. Mr. Gershwin was educated in the New York City public school system and this annual award serves to honor a junior year student at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art, a public school in New York City. This scholarship is funded by a gift to The ASCAP Foundation from the Ira & Leonore Gershwin Philanthropic Fund.
