The ninth annual ASCAP Concert Music Awards were held May 22, 2008 at The Times Center in New York City. ASCAP member, radio host and performer Peter Schickele hosted the invitation-only event, which recognized the achievements of ASCAP's 2008 Concert Music Honorees who represent the diverse aesthetic spectrum of the concert music world. Recipients of the 2008 ASCAP Foundation Morton Gould Young Composer Awards were presented and congratulated.
