The biannual election of the ASCAP Board of Directors will take place in February and March, 2005. ASCAP is providing this information to acquaint members with the election process.

In accordance with the Articles of Association, both Writers and Publishers Nominating Committees have been constituted. The members of the Writers Nominating Committee are: Lynn Ahrens, Kevin Briggs, Jay Gruska, Dennis Matkosky and Wendy Waldman. The members of the Publishers Nominating Committee are: Ree Guyer Buchanan (Wrensong Publishing Corp), Bob Fead (The Burt Bacharach Music Group), Stanley Mills (September Music Corp), Larry Richmond (Cromwell Music Inc.) and David Rosner (Kohaw Music, Inc.).

Ballots will be mailed to members eligible to vote on February 18, 2005, to be returned no later than March 18, 2005. The ballots will be tallied by independent tellers, and the results then announced to the membership.

Please remember that the Board of Directors represents the entire membership, and every eligible member is urged to vote.
