The BIG Gear Giveback

Flood Relief For Nashville Musicians

June 4 - June 20

Nashville, TN

NAMM, Next BIG Nashville, American Songwriter, the Nashville Musicians Union, MusiCares, ASCAP, SESAC, Zehnder and Firefly have partnered to launch The BIG Gear Giveback, a nationwide gear donation drive.

Gear companies, NAMM vendors, and compassionate musicians will get the opportunity to donate musical equipment to working musicians whose equipment and instruments were destroyed during the massive flooding in Middle Tennessee in May.

A special showcase event will be held at Hard Rock Cafe in Nashville on Friday, June 18 featuring Next BIG Nashville alumni The Apache Relay and Megan McCormick, plus special guests.

Middle Tennessee musicians who lost gear can apply for donations by uploading information about the specific equipment, instruments or software they lost in the flood online at www.americansongspace.com/biggearbenefit.

APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY JUNE 20, 2010

The Nashville Musicians Association has created a specific gear relief fund and will be working with companies to match each musician’s needs with specific product donations. Companies wishing to donate should contact biggear@americansongwriter.com.
