Please join ASCAP for the special presentation AFRICAN RHYTHMS by jazz legend Randy Weston.

Mr. Weston is an American Jazz pianist and composer with a truly global cultural outlook. He has recorded many acclaimed albums over the years, incorporating various African elements into his music. He has lived and studied in Africa and collaborated with many of the continent’s most notable musicians. Randy has received high honors for his music in France, Africa and in the U.S., where he was recognized as National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master in 2001. In 2009 Randy was added to the ASCAP Jazz Wall of Fame.
