Musicology 302 with ASCAP Board Member Hal David
If you have ever had a lyric running through your head, it is likely that you have heard the work of Hal David – the Grammy Award/Oscar-winning lyricist who, most famously, gave voice to music by Burt Bacharach sung by America’s most popular singers for over a half a century. Musicologist Alan Warner converses with this national legend about putting the human voice into the music we have all heard on radio, in films and on Broadway.
Grand Performances is Los Angeles' premier free outdoor summer performing arts presenter, now celebrating its 23rd season, and is based at California Plaza in Downtown Los Angeles.
