2007 ASCAP Board of Directors Election

The biannual election of the ASCAP Board of Directors will take place in February 2007. ASCAP is providing this information to acquaint members with the election process.

In accordance with the Articles of Association, both Writers and Publishers Nominating Committees were constituted. The members of the Writers Nominating Committee are: Lynn Ahrens, Anthony Crawford, Jay Gruska, Don Schlitz and Wendy Waldman. The members of the Publishers Nominating Committee are: Ree Guyer Buchanan, Bob Fead, Mark Fried, Joel Martin, Stanley Mills.

Ballots will be mailed to members eligible to vote on January 29, 2007, to be returned no later than February 28, 2007. The ballots will be tallied by independent tellers, and the results then announced to the membership.

Please remember that the Board of Directors represents the entire membership, and every eligible member is urged to vote.
