This fall, the ASCAP Atlanta office with Hot 107.9 FM presented its "Write Now: Notes on Succeeding in the Music Business" panel at Morehouse College. The panel, which was moderated by ASCAP's Jennifer Drake and Joncier Rienecker, was divided into two sessions - "Music Business 101: How to Start Your Brand" and "Music Business 102: How to Build Your Brand" - and featured professional insight from an array of music industry executives and creators. Panelists included:

- Ray Daniels (R.A.Y.D.A.R. Management)
- Roscoe Dash (Artist; "All the Way Turnt Up")

- Lil’ Ronnie (Producer; "Can't Get You Out of My Head" - Lupe Fiasco)
- DJ Drama (Recording Artist and DJ for Grand Hustle Records)
- Hurricane Dave (Operations Manager, Radio One)
The event featured music by DJ Era and DJ Spinz, as well as a special guest performance by Morehouse student and R&B/Soul singer, Keeyan Martin who was introduced by Morehouse Department of Music Professor, Al Thrash. Morehouse Department of Music Chair, Dr. Uzee Brown welcomed guests and introduced host, DJ/Producer Don Cannon. Microsoft was a sponsor for the panel and treated guests in attendance to an exclusive look at new products.
