It's been another stellar awards season for ASCAP's global circle of film and TV music writers. Just a week after ASCAP members dominated the Grammys' visual media nominations, and a couple days after six more were nominated for Critics' Choice Awards, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association nominated ten ASCAP writer members for the 70th Golden Globe Awards.
Among this year's nominees are Dario Marianelli (PRS), who earned the 2008 Golden Globe for his score to Atonement, and Jon Bon Jovi, whose song "Blaze of Glory" from Young Guns II took the Golden Globe for Best Original Song in 1990.
The Golden Globe Awards ceremony takes place on Sunday, January 13th, 2013 and will air on NBC. It will be hosted by ASCAP members Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
ASCAP congratulates all of our nominated members and foreign affiliates!
