ASCAP's unmatched film and television music community has once again proven its pre-eminence by scoring three of the four original music categories in the 2012 Creative Arts Emmys.
This year's winners pool highlighted the truly international scope of ASCAP's TV repertory - Englishmen Paul Englishby and John Lunn (PRS), and Americans David Javerbaum and Adam Schlesinger all took home trophies.
Composers Englishby, Lunn, and songwriter Schlesinger earned their first Emmys during this year's ceremony, held on September 15th, 2012 at the NOKIA Theatre LA Live. For lyricist Javerbaum, this was his 12th career Emmy, but first ever for music. Javerbaum has shared 11 previous awards with the writing staff of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
Highlights from the 2012 Creative Arts Emmys will air on Saturday, September 22nd at 8:00pm on ReelzChannel, one night before the 2012 Primetime Emmys air.
