The beautiful LA headquarters of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) was the perfect place for a recent reception celebrating the tremendous success of ASCAP's composer community in the 2012 Emmy nominations. ATAS, the Society of Composers & Lyricists (SCL) and ASCAP co-presented the reception, which honored all of the music nominees for the 2012 Creative Arts Emmys. ASCAP nominees Sean Callery (Homeland), Lisa Coleman (Touch), John Debney (Hatfields & McCoys) and Robert Duncan (Missing) mingled with other composers and industry elite at the exclusive cocktail reception; SCL President & ASCAP Board member Dan Foliart, along with ATAS Governors (and ASCAP composers) Mark Adler and Ian Fraser, presented the nominees with special certificates.
The Creative Arts awards (including all music categories) will be presented on September 15th.
