Has there ever been a more appropriately named band than fun.? America seems to think not. The band's anthemic first single "We Are Young" topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for six consecutive weeks in March and April 2012, became the year's first single to go platinum three times, and won the hearts of fans and critics throughout the country and worldwide.

ASCAP celebrated fun.'s remarkable 2012 at an afterparty, co-presented with First Artists Management after the band's recent show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. Multi-instrumentalist Andrew Dost was pleased as punch to meet with invited guests from the film music industry in LA - Dost has ambitions to score films, in addition to his integral role in fun. He was doubly pleased to get a special ASCAP plaque commemorating the chart-topping success of "We Are Young."
