ASCAP co-hosted a #1 Party on Monday, August 20th at the CMA offices in Nashville to celebrate songwriter Eric Paslay and the team behind "Even If It Breaks Your Heart." The song, recorded by Republic Nashville’s Eli Young Band and co-written by Will Hoge, went to the top of all three charts - Billboard, MusicRow, and Country Aircheck - in July of this year. It marks the second single from EYB’s current album Life at Best, produced by Frank Liddell and Mike Wrucke, and the second of three #1 singles in just 11 months for ASCAP songwriter Paslay, whose publisher Cal IV was also on hand to congratulate the group.
