As the White House's Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator (IPEC), Victoria Espinel's job is to coordinate the many federal agencies that work to stop copyright infringement and counterfeiting. Now she's asking for input from the very people whose lives are most affected by IP policy - the songwriters, composers, musicians, music publishers, producers and other music professionals whose livelihoods depend on strong copyright protection. That means you! Espinel is seeking public input to help shape a strategic plan for the federal government's IP enforcement efforts. This is a unique opportunity for ASCAP members to advise the White House on which strategies and tactics you feel are most effective. ASCAP will be submitting suggestions on behalf of the Society. But we also want you to raise your voice and give your valuable input.
