In this edition of New Music Tuesday, we focus on The Future Again, the brand new album by progressive metalcore band A Hero A Fake. The band's guitarist Eric Morgan gives us the skinny.
The Future Again is most definitely the biggest evolution in sound that we've gone through. Lyrically we had a lot we wanted to say on this album, from our experience living in the music industry. We felt the best way to frame that was with the most powerful and energetic music we could create. We focused a lot more on overall song structure, melodic hooks, and amplifying the impact of our rhythms. I can't wait to play these songs on the road!
