ASCAP recently hosted a cocktail party with EMI Music Publishing at the swank SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. The event kicked off an EMI writers′ conference that the venerable music publisher was holding in Los Angeles. ASCAP and EMI staff mixed with signed writers of all genres at the event.
