Ware performs at ASCAP hip-hop showcase
On January 25, 2012, ASCAP Nashville hosted its first hip-hop and electronic music showcase. Representing these fast-emerging genres in Music City, nine acts took the stage of 12th & Porter including Sam & Tre, Call It Dope, The Flamingos, Wally Clark, Ducko McFil, Ware, Forte Bowie, Island Hustle Society and DJ Ghostdogg. Perception Management’s Big Fella hosted the evening’s showcase and expressed his appreciation to Music Row. “Nashville is historically a country music town, but there’s a bunch of other stuff. We’ve got a real, healthy hip-hop scene. We’ve got a real, healthy electronic scene.” he said.
